Hours:
The office is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm weekdays. Our member clients
have our home phone numbers for emergencies.
Telephone: 440-774-4215
Fax: 440-775-1368
E-mail:
mckaylodge@aol.com.
Arrangements:
Telephone
arrangements are made before receiving art. Email correspondance with
our clients is now a leading method of brief exchanges of information
as well as the fastest means of sending pictures and text-based files.
Registration:
Projects are numbered and registered in a database. The database stores
our client information for easy retrieval in completing new project records
for regular clients.
Proposals:
A flat fee is charged for examinations necessary for offering a proposal.
Almost all proposals are firm price proposals reflecting expected and
reasonable time and materials.
Billing:
We
avoid periodic billing even for projects in the ten's of thousands to
simplify our office work and that of our clients. Nearly all projects
are billed for the total amount on completion of the work.
Shipping:
Most
art arrives via museum transportation or specialized fine arts transport
companies. The second common shipping is through Fed Ex. We receive art
from as far away as California.
|
Our
Transportation:
We
currently run two new one-ton diesel cargo vans for on-site work.
Each is equipped with a telephone. Often we are able to pick-up
and deliver art on our many trips which usually range within a 500
mile radius of Oberlin, Ohio. This saves our clients money and makes
for more convenient and safe art shipping. |
